Thursday Power Yoga
Enjoy a power Yoga practice every Thursday, this is a playful class where we explore strength, balance and flexibility in the mind. Creating a sharp focus and dedicated practice, we learn to find our breath amidst the challenge of the interweaved postures, flowing and always moving. One of my favourite classes to teach as we use the full surface area of the mat! From standing poses to seated, balances, side to side, almost like a mandala we use the body to express itself, physically and emotionally reaching out and opening our hearts and limitations. This class is open for every one, be mindful thats it’s a challenging flow that will test you! But challenge and the unknown is good, you will never know what I will think of next! 🤣
When coming to practice be mindful that your practice is your own, more so than ever being in our home environment it may be easy for us to focus deeper as we have time and personal space, but you might experience the opposite if your kids and pets wander around! Take your own time, rest when you need to and of course, accommodate for injuries, discomfort and space.
Yoga gives you the opportunity to build awareness and a connection, to your body, your mind and the world around you.
Take this time, to feel your emotions and find your feet firmly in the ground.
