Day 8 - Forward Fold
Pose: Forward Fold - Uttanasana
Alignment: From a standing position the feet can either be hip distance OR together. Find whatever you prefer(explore!) Resting the hands on the hips, inhale standing tall, exhaling bend the knees and reach the belly down towards the thighs, extending the heart beyond the knees. Every inhalation create length within the spine and neck, every exhalation sink deeper. The hands can rest on the thighs, shins, ankles, or floor either side of the feet. Take your time with this one, those legs might feel a little tender! Breathe deep 10 times. x
