Day 6 - Chair Pose
Pose: Chair - Utkatasana
Alignment: From a standing position, part the feet hip distance, feet are encouraged to be parallel but also give the feet the chance to find a comfortable neutral. Inhale to reach the arms forwards (or up!) and as you exhale find a deep squat, reaching the tail bone down, lower ribs in and core engaged. Find a happy place in this also know ‘Awkward posture’ and feel the warmth and strength within the legs! Shift weight into the heels and grip toes down, lift forwards and up with each breath in, sink deeper with each breath out. 1 minute hold please!
