Day 2 - Tree Pose
Pose: Tree Pose - Vrksasana
Alignment: From a standing position, part the feet hip distance, gently lean the weight of the body into the right foot. Allow your left foot to rest on the inner right ankle, calf, or inner thigh. Finding balance and a soft gaze, as you inhale lift the heart and crown of the head up away from the hips, gentle engagement through the core. Listen to your breath, 10 long breaths both side please! If you want a challenge, close your eyes.
Benefits: Improves balance, focus, memory and co-ordination. Strengthens the legs, ankles and feet.
