Manipura Chakra Healing

The Manipura Chakra is the “City of Jewels” in which we find the pearls of clarity, wisdom, self-confidence and wellbeing. Their lustre radiates down to the lower Chakras as well as up to the Heart Centre (Anahata Chakra). The feelings of love and happiness that we feel in our heart actually originate in the Manipura Chakra and rise from there to the Anahata Chakra. The positive radiance emanating from the Manipura Chakra also purifies the Svadhishthana and Muladhara Chakras and their qualities.

Passion becomes pure selfless love; through the light of wisdom, prejudice and aversion change to respect and understanding; and envy and insatiable greed change to goodwill and healthy moderation. With the gaining of self-confidence, pride and jealousy change to modesty and generosity, ignorance changes into clarity, and laziness into focussed, consistent effort.

The qualities of Manipura chakra are: Will, personal power... Taking responsibility for one’s life, taking control Mental abilities, the intellect Forming personal opinions and beliefs Making decisions, setting the direction Clarity of judgments Personal identity, personality Self-assurance, confidence Self-discipline Independence

B A L A N C E D Be assertive Exert your will in a way that leads to the expected results somewhat effortlessly Have harmonious relationships with your surrounding

I M B A L A N C E D Excessive control and authority over your environment and people Or the opposite in case of deficiency or blocked energy: Feeling of helplessness, irresponsibility Being obsessed with minute details, seeing life through a filter of plus and minuses while losing sight of the whole picture Being manipulative Misusing your power Lack of clear direction, lack of purpose or ambition Making plans or having a lot of ideas without finding efficient ways to realize them

We want to focus on igniting our inner fire (agni) for this practice. Core work and internal twists are perfect for balancing and stimulating this chakra. Breath of fire and chanting SATNAM are also wonderful techniques you can use without a deep physical practice.
